"One of my first jobs out of school was in an office that had had a mercury spill, so they didn’t use mercury amalgam anymore. They required less invasive placement, they were more stable than amalgam, and they provided a tighter seal and they did not cause fractures since they didn’t expand with heat the way metal did. In fact, thanks to adhesive technology, they restored teeth to their strength and to a beautiful appearance. For those guests that prefer to whiten at home, Dr. Rotem offers the latest in custom at home whitening technology. To maintain your beautiful white teeth, we offer products such as whitening toothpaste that really works and tough up whitening kits.
Advance Imaging and Low Dose X-rays
To properly care for our guests, we believe in using low dose x-rays. This technology uses much less radiation than standard x-rays. Your safety, comfort and care are our primary concerns.
Dr Rotem relies heavily on photography, using intraoral video, digital and 35 mm formats for your care. Our portrait studio allows us to take high quality before and after photos of you. Cosmetic imaging software enables us to give you a preview of how you will look when we transform your smile.
Comfort Dentistry
Dr Rotem prides himself on being extraordinarily gentle. As a child, Dr Rotem was inspired to be a dentist by his own family dentist who always made certain that visits were comfortable. “I had plenty of cavities as a kid because we grew up before fluoridated water and my mom made great desserts! I never felt anything at the dentist,” Dr Rotem remembers. “My dentist pampered me and he was super gentle. His hands would touch you as though you were a newborn baby. I decided that I wanted to be that kind of dentist."

Even with 21st century dentistry, most guests are nervous when they come for a visit. We understand. It is so important to us to do everything we can do pamper you. In our reception room we have refreshments such as calming herbal teas and we have a courtesy phone. We have warm blankets and soft pillows. We have your choice of movies available in the treatment rooms and headphones. We have “relaxing air”(nitrous oxide) to relieve anxiety and to give you a wonderful sense of wellbeing. For those guests who would benefit from a prescription, we can plan ahead with calming sedative medication. Some of our guests prefer “nap dentistry”, using a safe pill that allows you to nap through your entire visit.
